Thanks,

After much cussin' and fussin' I finally got it figured out. The only trouble is that my prominiator doesn't like the new bin one little bit. Somehow it's corrupting the bin (I get a rapidly flashing SES light after I load the new bin). I guess I'll run it and save the bin, then use the compare feature of tuner pro to manually change the VE values.

Thanks Again!

Yeah, I had that same problem before. Basically the program just isn't changing the checksum properly. All you have to do is run aldltobin and then open the new .bin file it spits out in Tunerpro. Then save the .bin in Tunerpro (rename it if you like) and it will automatically calculate the checksum properly, and you'll be good to go.

Thanks, I'll give that a try in a day or two. Right now I am in the middle of putting a B&M deep tranny pan and filter in.

I can't find this software in the incoming directory. Has it been moved? Where can I find it?

Sorry for resurrecting a really old thread but I have a couple newbie questions: When you say you should zero the 400-3200rpm range in the 2nd VE table is this before you go and log data with winALDL and get the BLM table and modify?

Should the logging be done in Closed loop only? What would cause my car to take a long time to go into Closed loop mode even after its up to temperture? The CTS does read correct in Winaldl.

I’ve read something about a program that will smooth out the VE tables after this is done, anyone have a link to such a program and its use?

Cheers,

Chris.
