Anyone using the Xtronics ROMulator?

Just bought one, the ROMulator programs fine but my car doesn't like it - it runs in Limp home only. You just replace the ECU chip with the ROMulator cable, right?

Thanks, -Bill

Let us know how well it works and whether or not you work out all the bugs. Haven't seen anyone comment on how well or if it actually works.

Tried running one on my 749 bench... 2 different romulators, 2 different laptops... no go with either in any combo. Bench works just fine running my flash. good luck. Bob

must need to have a resitor value changed ill check into that. this is with the new romulator correct. if its not emulating then you need to pitch a holy **** fit. i know i will if mine doesnt. i also think it might have to do with the mecal adapter if it isnt working. with the c3 ecms if its not super tight with the pins then it wont work at all. maybe ill rig up a 28 pin header to slip directly to the ecm this might be the problem to much signal latency. im headed out to try my romutlator now did you try to emulate with a c3 ecm like a 747 ? also were you geting a RED led with ECM power on with the romulator plugged into the ecm but disconnected from the laptop ??

roosetr what type of honda make modle and ecmre you rworking with ?

Had to send the ROMulator back for inspection. It refused to work with my 727 (730) ECU.
