just a couple questions
I'm wiring up a 4.3 from a '94 Blazer in a '90 Isuzu Amigo. I've spent a lot of time searching for a pinout, and finally found one last night here on TGO. The ECM is a 6395, supposedly the same as a 7427, which has opend up my search quite a bit. The one chart I found lists the E13 pin as "brake signal", which I believe is to unlock the torque converter (Trans is a 4l60e, also '94) and should go to the brake light switch, is this correct?
The other question is about the ALDL, I've read that they are different for different ecms. AFAIK pin A is grounded. Pins B and M are still wired to the harness so I won't touch them.
Then there is a big oval plug with 14 pins in it. All the other plugs are labeled except this one, and my battery feed and ignition feed are in it. I don't know what else the other pins are.
Thanks for any help, this board has been a great resource for my other efi swaps.

Re: just a couple questions
The ALDL has the ground tied into harness as well to grounds there. Pin M is used on 8192 baud systems like the 16197427/16196395 and pin E is used on 160 baud systems like 1227747.
The Brake wire on these for TCC is opposite of brake switch in that it feeds power all the time until brakes are applied to release TCC. PCM controls when TCC comes on. There is also an ABS control wired into some of these.
There's some 16196395 wiring diagrams at link below which are almost identical to 16197427 and similar PCMs. There are a few changes or additions in some for idle solenoid to raise idle on heavy equipment trucks and Governor options between $OD, $OE, $E6 and $31

The plug you can't identify IIRC is plugged into stock vehicle harness and just get's cut out and wires needed done appropriately. There are other things in the harness you wouldn't use in a conversion like wires to instrument cluster and ABS control etc...

Re: just a couple questions
The Amigo owner wanted to use the Chevy dash panel for the speedo at least. I'll look through the link and see what needs to be done to make that all work.
Thanks Mark.
BTW, that page came up in my searches I didn't want to have to register on yet another bb. Guess I'll have to.

Re: just a couple questions
That's cool to use the speedo to in a conversion! But you'll also need the DRAC/VSSB for it to work. There is a setting in these PCM to change VSS Not From DRAC and wire them right into PCM, but you will need it for speedo, it also recalculates VSS output for things like ABS, correct speedo reading, cruise control...

The "VSS not from DRAC" is only when using a non-E tranny, and a a VSS that doesn't have 40 PPR, AFAIK.

What is the DRAC?
I have both the engine harness and the dash harness here.

Re: just a couple questions
This has become more involved than just a simple tbi conversion. I'm looking for the guage cluster pinout, and all I find are references to either an 18 pin connector or a 34 pin connector. What I have is a 26 pin connector. There are 4 wires from that to the oval connector I mentioned earlier. I'm certain I can make the Chevy dash work.
