Best place to get C950 Software?
Hello, I recently bought a car that was equipped with a Holley Commander 950 system, unfortunately the man I bought the car from had lost the software for it, and I was just wondering where the best place to get it was. SO far the cheapest I've seen for just the software is $90, is there anywhere better, or any place where I can just download it instead of waiting for CDs to get mailed to me?

I have a buddy that had one of those on a 496 BBC before he scrapped it, I'll see if he still has it.
Quite frankly I can't believe they want to charge you $90.00 for the software, that sucks.
Just curious, what's the application?

Well the $90 is for the "Pro" version of the software, the have the regular software available for free download which I have, but like I said it doesn't work on Windows 7, so I'm just trying now to figure out how to make the program work on my computer.
What I downloaded is the software about halfway down this page:

You don't want or need the Pro version anyway. It's worse than the regular one in that it only fires the injectors once every 2 revolutions instead of twice. Even that isn't great because it fires all 8 at once.
It says right there that it's not compatible with 7 or Vista so I guess is you'll need a laptop with an older operating system. No sense in beating your head against the wall. Again the C950 is a bit antiquated by todays standards.

I think that you will find that more Holley users (and a rep. or two) hang out over @ the Chevytalk EFI forum. There aren't many problems with that old system they haven't hammered out, good luck.
