Ignition systems and DFI Gen7
Since my 6AL blew up months ago ive been runnig stock HEI ignition. I want to put a new better then stock distributor, and ignition box in but not sure what is really compatable with the DFI setup. The 6AL almost fully cooked the DFI module. Fused one of the wires from the distributor module to the ecm. So what kind of setup is everyone else using. I want to be able to control all the ignition with the DFI, but want something that puts out a little more spark energy then the stock setup.
Also does anyone have a wiring diagram of how they set theres up?

You can run a 6A, 6AL, etc. It is pretty easy, you will just need to take your points trigger wire and run that to the Gen 7's blue wire on the ignition connector. If you need any more help with the hook up let me know.
