Anyone aware of aftermarked ecu swap TPI?
Does anyone know of aftermarket ECU, or system that is programmable from ALDL port more like the OBDII systems?
I've got a 350 Vortec with some mods and TPIS system to tune. I'd like not to have to take carpet out everytime I have to tune on it.
I put system in 58 Vette and put false floor in pass side front floor.
Any help would be grateful.

I have Mike's conversion in my 41 Chevy pickup, but I started the 58 Vette in 2001, long before the OBDII stuff was done.
I used a Painless TPI SD harness and installed it in the car 7-8 years ago and then built the car around it.
I really hate to start taking it apart after about 50000.00 worth of money and 8 years of sweat.
It would be nice to do an add on or conversion to what I have.
I've dealt with half dozen TPI/streetrod conversions and have always been able to get them to run okay, but with basically stock stuff.
There was not a good place to put ecu in the vette under dash, so I scooted it down in right floorboard and built false floor over it.
I really didn't think about the problems down the road when I started to tune.
Rbob, where can I find info on the EBL?
Thanks guys for all the help.
