Memcal difference between T5 and 700R4?
I'm about to order an Ostrich 2 from moates, and I'm a little confused about the G1 adapter. It looks like it plugs in where the memcal goes, and then the ostrich connects to that, right? But then the limp-mode circuits are no longer in place, so what happens if the ECM tries to go to limp mode? I have a spare memcal, but it's for an 88 LB9/700R4. I'm thinking it might be better if I modify that one by adding a ZIF socket, and just plugging the ostrich into that. But is there any difference in the limp mode circuits between the T5 and 700R4 memcal?
