Injector Resistance?

So i measured the resistance on all 8 of my injectors and found the following:

Injector# Resistance in Ohms
1 17.1

2 16.8

3 16.8

4 17.1

5 16.8

6 16.8

7 16.8

8 16.8

I know the previous owner said something about swapping out for bigger injectors.
The questions are:

Could this be a problem having that variance on 1 & 4???
Are these values around the normal range?

Re: Injector Resistance?

For Multec's they are in the proper range. Which is about 16 ohms (plus the DVM lead resistance). You may want to pull some numbers off of an injector and find out what they really are.

Re: Injector Resistance?

Manual says 10 ohms or more. Mine new ones all measure around 16. I wouldn't be concerned with the values you have. They appear to be good to me. My old ones that were still good were 16.5 or so. The ones I considered "BAD" were 12, 7.5, and 2 at 5 ohms. These low-value ones load the injector driver so much that it can't control the other injectors for good mixture control.

Re: Injector Resistance?

Thanks for the quick replies!

And last time i pulled the number off of the shoulder and there were (if memory serves) 3 groups of numbers...
