Need Calmap 6.32 help saving a file...
OK. I am a noobie to the DFI thing. I have a DFI-6 in my car that was tuned by a shop. I need to change my rev limiter before the weekend and I am not sure about how to go about it.
I have read numerous articles and literature from Accel...even Ray B's book. I believe the rev limiter is in the global setup file, but I am not sure how to save the file.
I have a 486 laptop and the cable needed. I have the Calmap 6.32 software but no calibration file. (downloaded software from Accel).
Once I hook up the laptop to the DFI and start the software...how do I save the calibration file to the laptop as a precaution in case something happens?
Thanks for any and all help. I really want to understand this tuning thing. I have a wideband o2 and innovative LM-1, but need to understand the Accel software.
