Palm Pilot Scan Tool?
I bought my wife a palm pilot about 4yrs ago with the key board for school. Could this pda be used as a scan/ program tool? I searched around found small number of boards talking but no solid answers, so I came to home base to ask yet another noobie question. Still debating gettin labtop, and this device is in hand so I hope to hear good replies! I plan to use it for my 305 tbi to teach myself tuning (that would be swell)

yes they make it.. we have it in school.. UTI.. they suck.. theyre slow they freeze and wut they can do is very limited, if youve ever used an actual scan tool something along the lines of a modis or genesis and know how delayed they are when theyre the best u can get palms are 100 times worse.. the DMM is terrible and the O-scope is slower then hell and very inacurate.. ill try to remember to find out the couple different companies we have at school tho.. but id suggest takin a ride to pepboys and picking up one that they have there for basic codes and check out a company called auto x-ray if u want to do a bit more if u get lucky u can get an x-ray at pepboys as they used to carry them.. u'll get it cheap like i did and theyre very good for about 400 bucks u can do pretty much anything a modis can do minus the scope voltmeter and 5 ggas
