How to ID an ECM
Hello all, I'm fairly new to the forum and I need some help getting my car figured out. It's an '86 IROC with a 350 tpi (from a different camaro) and a T-5 (also not original to the car). The guy I bought it from said the engine came from a 1990 camaro but he is running a MAF on it. I've been having some minor issues with the car and wanted to make sure that the ECM is for a MAF car. I pulled the computer out.... where are the part numbers I need to look for and what should they be for a MAF car?
Any other ideas how I can sort all this out would be greatly appreciated.

Look for the Service # on the label. Itwill be on the outside of the ECM. If it is the original it will be 1227165. There are newer service numbers for the same ECM. Not sure of what there are.
