MAF sensor relay = burn-off relay ????

I went to Napa today to buy a burn - off relay, however they said they don't carry one (they can't find one in their system). After searching relay after relay we found a Mass Air Flow Sensor realy, it has the same 5 pin setup as the burn - off relay in the schematics. I'm guessing the burn off relay is the same as the MAF sensor relay, I know its a stupid question but am I right? And the relay is located on the driver's side by the wiper motor?

Thanks in advance for your much needed help guys

Pat

There are 2 MAF relays the MAF Power relay and the MAF Burnoff Relay. Good news they are the same part number: RY109T
Here is picture of where they are located:

it would probably be more convenient to buy them locally.

That’s not correct. The MAF-Burnoff-Relay has just four connectors (four wires): One contact NO (normally open). MAF-Power relay and fuel-pump-relay need five contacts; the connector-plug is equipped with five wires. The best would be, to take all three of them (MAF Power, MAF Sensor, Fuel Pump) with the five-connector-relay, so you can all of them interchange for diagnosis. For the MAF-Power use only the 10067925, because it includes circuit-protection to ECM and MAF-Sensor
