innovative lm1 and gen7

i read somewhere that u can wire the lm1 into accel gen7..does anyone have info on this???like how and what to wire???i did a search but really didn't find ant info on wiring it up...any help would be appreciated....

It's possible. You have to have version 4.0 or higher of CalMap which allows you to put a generic linear 0-5 table into the ECM. Then you have to program your innovate (or whatever sensor you have) to give a linear output where 0 volts equals 10.0:1 and 5.0 volts = 20.0:1. Hook the 0-5 volt output of your sensor to pins A&B of your HEGO connector on the DFI harness. Hook the sensor voltage to pin B, the signal return to pin A and you should be all set.


However, if you haven't bought the wideband sensor yet, you would do well to hold off. DFI just announced a cheaper wideband O2 controller at the PRI show last week. It will be a little higher in price than the innovate piece, but will be able to function as a data logger for the Gen 7 ECM in addition to being up to a dual-channel WBO2 with VSS and RPM inputs.

The base single channel model should be available in January, with dual channel pieces following shortly after that.

hey thanks dfiguy,thats great info....i do already have the lm1, but i still might wait to buy accel's unit...do u know if accel has it on their website yet????or anywhere else i could find more info on it????
