Innovate WB do I need Aux Box?
Looking at buying the Innovate wide band o2 sensor and was wondering if I need to also buy the aux box (rpm interface) that allows logging of rpm plus four other sensors. I am using TunerProRT for data logging and was wondering if I can somehow log the wide band info with the TunerPro software?

If the ECM has the 8192 baud rate it can be better to log through it. There are some patches available to have the ECM read in the AFR from the WB device and output the value via the ALDL link. This way the WB information is logged along with a lot of other data (RPM, MPH, PW, SA, . . . ).
If the ECM in question is a 160 baud device, it is usually best to use the aux logger. Then log RPM, MAP, and the WB.

I am using the 165 ecm with MAF. Where do I find the "patches" and by this are we talking about having to work with assembly of code? If that is the case I have not advanced that far but I guess it would be time to start learning. Thanks!
