Getting started w/ Gen 7

I am new to the Gen 7 and programming so I need a little help. Here is my combo:
91 firebird
350 bore 60 over
3.75 stroke
6" rods
Comp Cam 306 .544/.576 w/1.6 rr 230/244
195 AFR
Miniram w/ 58mm TB
11.6:1 compression
fp is set at 45 with Accel 32 lb injectors
t56

Car idles at 1000 rpm. I only have narrowband set up
and can not read AF as of yet. In the meantime, I would like to
continue tune and get comfortable with using.
What should I do next? Can I use the voltage from the O2 sensor to tune.

You can use the HEGO to tune, but it only corrects in closed loop when your target A:F Ratio is between 14.0:1 and 15.0:1. The system goes into open loop outside of that range due to the accuracy of the sensor.

For other A:F ratios, you need to tune against HEGO voltage. As you get richer, HEGO voltage goes up.

These are APPROXIMATE values:
A/F => HEGO Volts
---------------------------
14.0:1 => 0.8
13.5:1 => 0.92
13.0:1 => 0.95

Set your target A:F values between 14.0 and 15.0 for cruising at high vacuum, and then tune your VE table in closed loop until your O2 correction numbers are as low as you can make them. Under load, when your target A:F is lower than 14.0, you will get no correction so you have to tune for the correct HEGO voltage.
