ALDL anomaly (non-third gen -'94 Pontiac Grand Prix)

Interesting situation.. I was trying to pull a code from my '94 Grand Prix today due to an intermittent SES, but found my ALDL connector only has terminals on A (Ground) and M. The rest are totally empty - no terminals or wires. I got down there and looked all behind the dash and there were no stray wires anywhere either. Has anyone ever encountered this situation?? I have done this on both my camaros with success, so yes it is the right connector.

Also, if it helps the ecm is service # 16196397 Bin: BJBM

Thanks, I hope someone has seen this and can provide me with some info.. it's perplexing. Any help is much appreciated.
