Formato custom eprom
I see alot of guys on corvetteforum that run a "Formato custom chip". Have you guys heard of this company and if so, do they have a website? I did a search and just came up with a bunch of Espano~l websites and a couple pointing to threads in the Corvette forum. Please help, I'm trying to dig up info on this company. From what I've read on the forums, they seem to work pretty darn good!

Formato has been burning chips for years. His dad started it and passed it to his son from what I understand.
I'm not a fan of "off the shelf" chips but these guys are differant. They do actual testing before and have a long list of proven data combinations.
As far as I know they don't have a website (yet). He does have an e-mail. It's Fasterproms@aol.com
Tell Jememy Formato I sent you. He evn has a LT1 intake so they know what's up with all products.
edit: here's the website for Formato

That was one members saga. It does not reflect what you might go through. It also doesn't reflect what might happen when you burn your own. Some people have good experiences with Formato and some people have bad. Some people have good experiences with DIYPROM and some people bad. Your experience is going to be what you make of it.

Formato's will take care of you. I'll offer up endorsement. I've dealt with them and like you say, they've got a lot of tuning experience on what works.
Bottom line is they can take a pretty good stab at it the first time, and if it doesn't do like you want it to, they'll stick with you till you're happy.
