Hi all
So I want test my CTS to check if it still working. Gonna use a multimeter to check for restiance and if there's a steady current goong through the pigtail
I have located the sensor as mentioned by several of you here on the forum. But I haven't found an answer on how to remove the sensor without removing any other parts
Is it possible to get to the sensor without removing the throttlebody?
Any advice is much approciated

Looks to me like that sensor leaks... in which case, regardless of its electrical properties at the moment you measure it, it's done for.
Can't answer for sure about removing it, but it sure does look to me like the TB and/or upper intake thing is in the way.

Thanks and what you are seeing is contact cleaner which I sprayed on it. Sharp though
should have mentioned it earlier.

long socket on a swivel. GM is usually pretty good about making service items like this easy to get at without removing too much stuff... usually...

Thanks. I ended up removing the throttlebody. Your suggestion is a good one if you can get the connector of. That was my main problem: couldn't get to the connector![Smilie](https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Now with th Tbody of I had enough space to test my pigtail with a Multimeter.
So for the 91 and 92 models: remove throttlebody and you have enough room to get to the CTS
