Don't use plastic 90 degree elbow for TB bypass!
I used a Dorman plastic elbow for my heater bypass and well, it blew out today when it was hot outside. Luckily I was able to reconnect without the elbow and make it home.
I found this pre-formed hose which is available at Napa and Kragen, part #18800. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow and see how well it fits. I've also seen someone post a Goodyear part #63069, but I wasn't able to find this part locally.

Re: Don't use plastic 90 degree elbow for TB bypass!
oh well great lol I have one of those elbows on my bypass, goes directly from radiator to throttle body now. I'm really hoping it doesn't blow on me, I couldn't find a hose that would work because the ports on the throttle body and radiator are different sizes, so i've got a dorman adapter to change the size of the hose AND an elbow to get it to go to the TB. if you find a pre-made hose that works make sure you update this post. I for one would very much like get rid of that elbow if possible now that it's getting hot out here.

You bypassed the heater core entirely? You won't find a molded piece for that routing, but you can use brass fittings instead of plastic!

Re: Don't use plastic 90 degree elbow for TB bypass!
Yeah my heater core blew on me a couple months ago and I didn't have time to tear into the dash so I just bypassed the whole thing. I'm hoping by this winter I'll have a second car to DD so I decided to just clean up the engine bay a bit and remove all the extra hoses.
Thanks for the tip on those brass fittings, I checked a hardware store for them and they were no help at all. If I can find what I need on that site I'll probably be picking some up in the next couple weeks.
