1991 camaro carbed 350

I have what seems to be smoke or steam coming through my vents when I accelerate. Or when I go up a hill. The smell is disgusting as well and its fogged up the inside of my windshield. The car doesn't overheat. And it doesn't have ac. What could be the problem? I'm thinking heater core but the floor in my car isn't wet. Just confused here all the help will be greatly appreciated.

clean out the cowl vents. they tent to clog with stuff. all so check your blower motor. i had that issue in my truck and i turned out the blower was shorting out and making a mess. and as you said... check the core.

 

Good advice, if the cleaning doesn't help - its heater core replacement time.

 

Classic heater core symptoms. Coolant is going somewhere or will be. I'd drop the kick panel and take a peek.

Well I replaced the Heater core and it still smoking. Not as bad but its still does it. I even ran the heat as well turns out I only have defrost high and low. Any ideas now? Did I miss something?

 

Check all the vacuum lines for the air controls.
