A/C compressor question

Engine: chevy create 5.7 350
Transmission: 700-R4
A/C compressor question

ok so i have all of my ac stuff hooked up and i want to get it up and running but the high pressure switch on the back of the compressor isnt hooked up. will that affect anything and if so where are the wires suppost to go because i dont have any wires going to it.. thanks

That year didn't have the high side cut off switch. You could wire it in but its really not necessary. It won't hurt anything if its not there. Although its good to have it for cheap insurance.
