rewire stock fans
Ok so when I bought this car its a 91 z28 it had a switch ran for the fans because who i bought it from didn't know why and didn't check why the fans didn't work. I went through and seen what the problem was and that is the temp switch that goes into the block on pass side the wire that goes to it was melted from touching the header. Well i bought a new switch for my car the one from jegs that turns the fans on at 190 from jet and was wondering if someone could tell me maybe with pictures how to rewire my fans back up i went through them but couldn't find all matching colors. Im new at all this and would like my fans to work this year without running that switch which gets very hot after a while. Any opinions or help is greatly appreciated.

I believe the hanes or chiltons manual has some wiring diagrams that will help.

if you can find where the fans were originally wired from should be a small black box maybe like a regulator, theres a power feed coming from it, i have my fans wired to that so they are consistantly on
