A/C Doesnt Cycle
Well I wanted to know if my ac system worked at all, since it hasnt since i got the car. i put a charge on it and the comressor wouldnt work unless jumped, no matter what. i found a bad connection in the cycle switch.
i installed a new switch and now the compressor stays on, no matter what, as long as the ac is on. it doesnt cycle, just remains on. what can cause this?

Where do you live? Keep in mind, most vehicles won't cycle at this time of year.
The low pressure switch is probably adjustable. Take the plastic connector off and look between the two electrical prongs. If it's adjustable, there will be a tiny screw in there. Turn it clockwise to turn the cycle off psi higher (cycle more often)
