Pressure levels for R12 air condition?
My ac isn't working on my 86 camaro and my dad has some gauges that will fit because he works in HVAC but I need to know what the pressure level is suppose to be at for an R12 system for it to work. Any help would be great! Thanks

Under Pressure
On an 80° day the high side should be about 230 PSI.
The low side should be about 28 PSI when running.
You stated it isn’t working therefore when you might have start from scratch with evacuating, adding 2 pounds by weight + oil, then running it and adding more till you reach the running pressures.

Re: Pressure levels for R12 air condition?
Ok thanks, I'm going to try to work on it tomorrow. I'm hoping the levels are good and maybe its just a faulty wire or something. But that might be wishful thinking.
