Champion Radiator?

I have read some reviews about the quality and price of champion radiators, and I have found one on fleabay for 140, trans/oil cooler included. This is obviously better than the stock plastic end tank ones at local stores, should I jump on it?

Re: Champion Radiator?

Maybe I missed it, but how many rows does it have?
All I saw was "cools better most 2 row radiators. Cools up to 450 HP".
If you're staying at or under that HP rating, why not?

For comparison, look at ledfootracing. They seem to sell pretty quick.

Read the sticky about aluminum radiators-" So you guys want a bolt in aluminum radiator " or something like that.
IIRC, you MAY have to trim some off the rubber saddles. There is alot of pics there too.

Good luck, & thanks for posting the site!!

Re: Champion Radiator?

It's a two row, and I never really understood how they can rate cooling capacity by horsepower... I only look at the core size, thickness, and overall dimensions. It 'seems' like it's an exact (dimensionally) copy of the one Summit sells (Northern brand). Just looking for people that have Champion rads, or Northern rads, and if they keep things cool under very hot racing conditions. Here's another fleabay vendor for $10 less
