Auxiliary temp sensor

Hey guys, thanks so far for all the help i've gotten on here. So i put back in my motor and i have a couple extra parts, lol. It's sitting right near the passenger side motor mount. It looks the same as the knock sensor conn. Could this be the aux. temp sensor conn? If so, where does it go? Any ideas would be appreciated. Oh btw, i have a '88 IROC Camaro with a LB9 (305 TPI) Thanks again.
