Open the attached Be Cool product thread and scroll down to the wiring instructions. Open and print those for ref. They'll give you an idea of how to proceed. Keep in mind that you should really run through a relay.

or ground the fan ground the switch wire from the battery something like that

Theres a waaay easier way to do it.
If you open your hood, look for the relays on the firewall on the drivers side.
One relay will be the fan relay.
It will have a green wire with a white stripe going into it.
If you splice into that wire, and hook it up to a switch that connects it to ground when you flip the switch , you can control the cooling fan .
