Heater Core Removal & Re-Install Questions
Okay, the heater core in both of my Camaro's ('92 & '86) are going out. When it rains it pours.
Can anyone give me the step by step removal and re-install of a thirdgen heater core. I know that the same heater core goes in both cars so the install should be simular except that my '86 is AC delete and my '92 has working cold AC.
Please give me every step with pics if you have them.

Re: Heater Core Removal & Re-Install Questions
I believe the proceedure is outlined step by step with pics in the Chiltons or Haynes repair manuals. If however, you want to try to work your way around the partial removal of the dash, you may want to first see if you can gain access to all of the screws that secure the heater core cover in place. It's a tight area and most likely, you'll end up removing a few in the way items anyway.
