Heater Box ???
I am building a street/strip Iroc. I am taking the A/C out and was wondering what is involved in changing the A/C heater box to a non A/C heater box
Is the heater core different?
Are the box holes the same that mounts it to the firewall?
anything else i should be worried about
thanks in advance

I don't have a/c in mine, and my a/c heater box is still there. You have to get a different blower motor, along with the non a/c box, and the heater core you have now will work. I should've already changed mine, to a non a/c box, it looks better, and gives you more room to install headers. You don't need it to have a functioning heating system.

Yep, its all the same basically. The only thing that I found was a pain in the butt was trying to wire the blower motor using the stock harness connectors. It deffinitely looks better in there than the darn A/C box.

i just took my stock box, cut it down to 1" tall off the motor housing and fiberglassed it back together minus the top part, i think it looks good, only downside is i removed the fan speed sensor thing so the fan is now either on or off, but thats fine with me
