31x19 Griffin Radiator/Heater Hose Fitting

I have a question and hoped that someone with a Griffin 31x19 could awnser. How thick is the aluminum on the tanks on each end? Thick enough to drill and tap for a small fitting? I am running an LS1 and need to connect altelast a 3/8" hose to the radiator.

I had a local race shop drill and weld on a 6an fitting for the steam line from the back of the cylinder heads on my griffen 31x19.. so thick enough for that, though I didn't do the work firsthand.
