Questions on Rerouting heater core valve hoses (with pictures)

Would either of this diagrams work for rerouting the heater core hoses?

Either would work. Hydraulically, they are the same. It just depends upon which is easier to connect. You could also completely eliminate the tubing along the subframe rail and run hose all the way from the heater core outlet. Another option would be to use a coolant return tube from an earlier ThirdGen that did not use a heater control valve. There was no valve at least through 1986 models.

ok so i routed my hoses how picture #2 shows...and now i have coolant in my passenger footwell...the heater core is like 1 month old so i know its not that...what else could it be

nevermind it was a loose hose clamp lol..thanks anyway
