water wetter?
anyone using that water wetter stuff? I have heard it will lower coolant temps but have never actually seen results from anyone. What do you guys think? ?

Conventional coolant has a wetting agent in it. Some of my friends have used it in thier high hp sportbikes, but honestly I have not seen much difference between thiers and mine. I run Dexcool and have had no problems.

VP Cool Down works better. About 10* cooler on the average and 20* cooler in traffic in the middle of August (90*+).

Water wetter is supposed to be used with water only. No coolant. It provides lubrication and corrosion resistance for water. Using water wetter with plain water will lower coolant temps because water is better at transferring heat than coolant and water mixed.

Yah ive used it in my 305 camaro, WITH, coolant, and it cooled down about 10 degrees, not a whole lot, but i droped from 220F, to around 210,

I've used it.. Definatly noticed a small decrease in temperature. Worked in the range I needed it too. Idling thru traffic at around 210 instead of 220 + without it.

We used it in our stock car. Water and water wetter went from 230 down to 205. No thermostat just a restrictor. I would say it works amazing.
