Heat/AC Removal, Vacuum Lines?
I own a '88 Camaro IROC-Z. I am in the middle of doing a 5.7TPI Swap, and no longer want heat in the car. I am removing the HeaterCore & A/C and all that junk to save weight...
What do I do with all the vacuum lines coming into the car? Just plug up every single one, or is there something simpler? I am in the middle fo doing it now, I got the dash & center console all removed today...
Has anyone ever done this before?

There should be 2 vacuum lines go to the back of the HVAC control head. I disconnected mine at the control head and at the vacuum source in the engine bay and pulled the lines through the firewall from the inside. I then plugged off the vacuum source in the engine bay. Pretty easy, but I reinstalled it because I needed my heater back.

What else does the vacuum lines control on a TPI Engine? I know it controles my cruise, but does the enigne require any vacuum?
Where is the control head located on a TPI Engine?

The control head I was referring to is just the heater/ac control above the radio.
