What will happen if radiator touches metal on the car?
I am installing my universal griffin radiator, and I was reading that article that Jim wrote. He mentions that no part of the radiator should touch any metal parts on the car. Why is this? I think I have it in there pretty good but he has me worried that maybe a small part may be touching and I don't want to screw anything up.
Thanks

You don't want the radiator rubbing on metal because it may damage it. The steel frame work could cut through an aluminum tank. On a side note, I installed a Griffin rad. with Spal dual fans and that team can cool. I run a 160* stat and cruising down the streets with the air on full, I run steady 160-170*. On the highway, I stay just above 160*.
