hypertech fan switch vs bucik fan switch
I have a few questions, i did some searches and could not find all the info. I have a 91 RS L03 which I believe needs a new fan switch. My first question is:
1. Is a 1987 Buick Regal fan switch (vin 7) a direct replacement for my fan switch?(or would I have to get a wiring harness or mess with the wires)
2. Is the hypertech easier to install than the Buick one?
3. I read that a Grand national switch will work also would that be a direct replacment for my current fan switch
4. What chip would you recomend i go with (I want it to kick on between 200 - 210 and off at 185 - 190)

well i believe mostly all the fan switches just have one wire/one connection...
that said they would be the same to install..
umm how many fans do you have? i think if you just have one it works on a temp sensor and the computer.

I only have one from what i read about the hypertech chip I thought it said that single fans are controlled by a fan switch and double fans are controlled by a fan switch(on the drivers side) and the passanger side is controlled by the computer. I'll have to recheck this to make sure though
