is my car running hot or too cold?
I have a 383 with AFR heads on there. I have the 1-1/4" griffin radiator. I have a 160 degree thermostat with two 1/8" holes drill in it. I also have a edelbrock water pump. My autometer gauge on the car reads 200 degrees at the head when i'm sitting at a light, it reads 180ish on the highway. My instrument cluster gauge reads close to the 160 mark in town. It reads in between the 100 and middle mark on the highway. My car ran around the 200 mark on the instrument gauge in my car with all old radiator. I just wanna know if my car is running way too cold or hot for this setup.

If your air dam is in place , it seems that your temps are fine (p.s. , the factory gauges are rarely accurate, go by the autometer gauge), does the car have an electric fan(s)?, if so, you may benefit having them turn on at a lower temp(170-175?)
