how to turn coolant fan on sooner for the single coolant fan
hello, i've seen several places that sell a temp sensor that turns the coolant fan on earlier, the only problem is that its for the dual coolant fan setup. i have a 86 iroc with only one coolant fan...my winter project will be to install the dual coolant fans out of an 88 iroc. i would like the fans to come on sooner. any ideas? would i need a chip burned so the fans come on earlier? thanks for the help, tom

if you notice in the ad, (as i have an 86 tpi with originally only one coolant fan...not two) it says for tpi with dual coolant fans. are they meaning a vehicle with originally dual fans or does it also include a dual fan conversion? thanks, tom
