putting a lower thermo bad???
one of the master techs i work with at STS tire&auto says that putting in a lower thermo for your radiator is actually bad for prefoamance because the engine doesnt get enough time to work at its optimum running temp is there any truth to this???

Yes it can be. Our cars were designed to run hot due to smog reasons. If you were to change to a 160* thermo you would need your chip to be changed to adjust to the lower running temperatures and have the fan come on earlier. IMO our cars run too warm.
