Little plastic bumpers on the side rail
Anti rattle isolators to be exact. They're riveted to the side rail that holds the weather strip. Anyway, one of mine was broken off, finally decided to fix that.
Dr. side, all thats left.
What it looks like and a rubber clone i made.
Didint like the rubber piece (too soft). So i made a nylon one.
Mounted w/ rivet.
This where it tucks in. You can see just to the left where the rail was slamming into the frame when returning the top back on. Now for real world testing.

I removed the egr valve as it had failed & replaced with a plate & gasket. Since u have a carb and it were my card I would remove all the tvs.
