my new vert

I just recently bought a 91 z28 vert auto. it has only 61K and is in great in great shape top to bottom. owned by some older folks that fixed anything it needed and only drove on sunny days. The only negative is the paint. overall its good but it has nick and scrapes on every panel. id say the car is a good 7 or 8 out of ten. after reading some of the posts I feel a lot better about the price I paid. looking forward to all the help/knowledge on here.

Re: my new vert

Looks good! Thats my cars twin. Looks like it has been repainted since the headlight pockets aren't black. Also the wheels look like the inserts are either white or not painted at all. Nice car though.

Could you do me a favor? Could you email me some pictures of the interior? Front and rear seat areas. Someone put a black interior into mine and I'm swapping it back to red. My email is Brian 71583@gmail.com (take out the spaces between brian and the numbers)

Re: my new vert

Yeah looks like it was painted at some point. I just painted the headlight buckets today. I plan to get a full repaint in the spring! Also the wheels have no color in the insert. I actually prefer it that way but not sure if that's how they would of come originally. Lots to learn about these.

Re: my new vert

Thanks for the pics but they raised more questions than they answered lol. Your rear interior side panels look off to me. But with Verts who knows whats correct.

My black interior panels are the same angled pattern as the door panels and seats. But your red ones are solid red and don't match the other stuff. AHHH these are a pain in the A**.

Re: my new vert

Great car. When you re-paint it look into scarlet red. It is the base for all reds and has that (is it orange or red) look to it. I painted my 90 ZR-1 that color without any black or white added and it almost glows in the sun.

Re: my new vert

so yesterday I finally took some time to replace some little things like fuses and bulbs and things. I now have operating pwr mirrors, locks and my tonnuea release! also have my map lights and underhood lights. I ordered a set of decklid struts and should have them in tomorrow. also have a question and probably shouldn't go here but im looking at a set of 16" iroc rims (first style) in above avg condition with decent tires. asking $400. fair price??
