release switch fix??? slider missing and having to use a key!
I just bought a 92 convertible TA and the switch by the rear passenger for the tonneau cover is missing(well, just the slide part).
So at this point I have to use a key to slide it up and release it. Any ideas or other fixes that I can use to repair it? I wonder if it is the same size as the trunk release on the coupes?

The only difference between the tonneau release switch and the hatch release switxh was the graphics that was printed on the switch. The tonneau switch had a picture of a tonneau as seen from above. The hatch switch has a picture of an open hatch. Once the graphics wears off with use, the difference between the two switches is gone.
