What glue for new top?

Got a new top for the vert (glass rear window) but I have no idea what glue to use. Anyone put your own top on and if so what glue did you use and where did you get it? Oh, and how fast does it dry? I got new weather stripping also, do you use the same glue for that?

Re: What glue for new top?

I'm wondering the same thing. I used DAP contact cement per instructions that came with the top but the back bottom part (by the window) will not stay. I thought it was ok after re-cementing and clamping for a day but then I took it on a ride going 65-70 and the back of the top flew open.

What about that Gorilla Glue stuff?

My top was actually screwed all the way around the bow frame. Guess the guy that installed it didn't want it coming loose and couldn't get it to hold either.
