Few pics of my new toy!
I bought this 89 IROC vert in Sept 2010, 87K orig miles, 5.0 auto, she runs really strong. I had to sell my hardtop,, I always wanted a vert and could not keep them both and I wasn't going to let this car slip away!!! As I said before this is one of my dream cars!
Before most of you point it out, yes I know the door decals are wrong! I think the idiots that repainted it didn't pay much attention when they replaced them. I bought a nice set on ebay and will fix this problem soon. I'm a little **** when it comes to things lke that! At this point I dont see myself doing alot of mods. But I did replace the steering wheel with a Grant formula. Mostly plan on keeping her original for now. I also want to get some rims eventually. Either going with 18" chrome Irocs or chromed stocks. Pics are not the best but I finally had some time this morning to take a few.

Nice car - I wish mine was an '89, I hate the airbag wheel in my '90, looks like it has a parachute packed into the middle of it . . .

Thanks for all of the comments so far guys! Like I said pics are kinda crappy but I will take better ones soon. I just had to get the "vertbug" out of my system! Although lately I been thinking about my old hardtop.

Nice
My 89 GTA vert is triple black, the paint is falling off and I think my top is factory original, but the interior is VG cond.
I have ~89k miles on mine its a 5.7tpi

The car looks beautiful. It looks like a twin to the 89 IROC vert I had back in the day. Damn I regret selling that car.

Re: Few pics of my new toy!
I've been in the car hobby along time, and IROC convertible is one of my favourite body shapes of all time. And 89 is the best year because that's the sweet spot where the 3rd gens were fully developed mechanically, yet they didn't use that hiddeous airbag steering wheel.
Congrats, beautiful car.

Black is beautiful on our cars. irocs and 67 corvettes are the best looking convertibles IMHO.
