89 ASC Vert Rebuild..Fuse issue
I recently put a new engine in my 89 convertible I've been hanging on to for nearly 7 years. After about 2 weeks of driving it had a engine fire near the back end of the fuel rail. We fixed that issue now I'm having to slightly different issues.
For some reason the power lock ACC Fuse has recently popped twice it hadn't had any issues until now just curious if anyone knows a common issue area. It might have to do with the engine fire not sure.
The other issue which I've always had since we got it started and I'm sure others might have seen is the trunk fuse always blows a few seconds after its put in. Now the trunk doesn't look like its fully closed and it does have the pull down system. The trunk button that from what I've read has been changed to open the tonneau does not function and I'm assuming that both the trunk and tonneau release are on the same fuse? Can anyone help me with these 2 issues maybe there somehow related.
Here is a picture of the vert after I cleaned her up shes still very rough tho.
