Hey guys I was wondering if anybody has any pictures of a brochure or magazine article or some other advertisements of the 1991-1992 firebird and trans am convertibles. I've never seen any and I doubt that Pontiac didn't advertise their convertibles, even if they were built by ASC.

There's one pic of the new for 91 Trans Am convertible in the mid-year 1991 Pontiac brochure. There's also a 91 T/A convertible (listed as a GTA but the GTA wasn't offered as a convertible) in the May 1991 Hot Rod magazine Bird Sanctuary article. They compare 5 91 Firebird models...

I'll see if I can post some up here in a few minutes.

If I'd known anyone was going to use it as a background I probably would have spent more time in Photoshop fixing the seems. I scanned it as three panels and then spliced them together, so it's not really perfect. Then Photobucket cut it down to a smaller resolution when I uploaded.

Several years ago, I knew the magazine article existed, and I'd seen black and white copies. Then about a week after I saw the black and whites, a buddy of mine said he'd been digging through his dad's old car magazines and found something I might enjoy. I was a bit surprised when he pulled out the slightly tattered Hot Rod. I think he gave it to me, to get me to stop drooling on his carpet. My scans don't really do it justice. Someday maybe I'll clean up the rest of the scans and upload them.
