Eibach Sportlines- Not For Verts
Hi guys,
Looking to get the Eibachs and notice that part no 4.0138 which is the SportLines are "Excluding Convertibles". Any ideas why? What is different?
Thanks,
Felix

I think I remember reading somewhere, it's because the verts are heavier. I have also read some people regret the sportlines because they drop the car too low. Which makes sense if a vert is heavier then the springs may bottom out easier. I could be wrong here so don't take my word as the only reason.

I had a pro kit on my last vert and the sportlines on my gta. The prokit is the way to go. Excellent stance and no sacrifice to ride quality!

Look in your rear fender wells. The space is reduced due to creating the area where the convertible top folds down into. All manufactures "exclude" the convertible model, but I have had no problems running lowering springs.
To be honest, the sportlines did not drop it enough for my taste, so I went with Intrax springs.

I have the sportlines on my vert, I have had no problems what so ever. And, I actually enjoy the ride charachteristics myselfs. Plus my wasted *** chassis flexes so much that it just absorbs the roughness.
Sportlines work fine.
