Will this roll bar work with my camaro?

Will that work? By work I mean look like it would protect me? Will I be able to move my top over it with no problem? Yes I did a search I am just clarifying.
EDIT: I just read that it will need to be shortened. Does anyone know by how many inches it needs to be shortened?

Well I was looking at getting a 2-point when I was considering putting in T-tops. Basically everyone that posted, told me it would offer little protection in a roll over but better then nothing.

Im not usually the one to say use the search feature. BUT thhis question has been answered a dozen + times here.
The HOOP only would prob. still buckle over if you did happen to flip the car. Your much better off doing something like I did. or others.
ANY roll bar or Cage is gonna need alot of cutting, tube notching , fitting and welding.
Heres a few links and there are a ton more if you search roll bar in this section.

I did use the feature but it didn't necessarily answer my question. I have a better chance of dying in a head on collision than flipping my camaro. I am only putting it so it looks safe for my mom. How much modifying will be necessary when installing it if I just want the hoop?

How skilled are you? Can you measure? Cut? and weld?
If yes to all 3 you should have no problems.
If no to any of them. Take the car to a chassis shop or someone you know and let them do it.
Or just buy the HAWKS style bar its bolt in.

I cannot weld but my friend works at Midas and he can weld it for me. Can I get a link to this bar? I can't find it.

Re: Will this roll bar work with my camaro?
id have to agree with brennan. If you do just a Hoop its gonna look goofy.
Id at least do the 6 point roll bar setup. Put the side bars low and they will be outa the way anyway. Will look good and please your mom.
