New top, need seals

My top fell victim to an (expletive deleted) in Sept. Insurance paid $1175, I paid $100. My seals are as old as car So it's time to replace them too. I will, seals weren't damaged, just old.
Who makes good seals for to look into?

Re: New top, need seals

i got some from hawks for around $250... this is all going off of memory....
now i think the brand was oer or something like that..... anyway don't get me wrong the car still leaks but i think that is something i did and lack of metal at the edge of the t-bar... anyway 6 months later and the seals are still soft! (i hear this can be a problem)

if you have not already discovered it, convert weatherstrips cost a small fortune - like $600 for a full set of sides and front and rear bow seals if yours are intact but hard try repeated applications of silicone lubricant to see if you can extend their life rather than paying out big bucks right away

Re: New top, need seals

I've been applying lube to them, not hard, not even leaking. I put a cheapy bow seal on last year, already shot. Won't go cheap again.Trying to restore the car to new condition. Paint is next, after that new seals.

My IROC however, does leak. If an outfit makes good vert. seals, hoping they make good ttop also. I need these before paint unfortunately.
