Re: really clean vert
Nice lookin' vert but that price has to be a typo or this guys off his rocker. Without knowing engine/trans combo I looked up the blue book and maxed out all available options: $4,185. Beautiful car but am I missing something?

Re: really clean vert
You say blue book is $4,185 on this car? In reality, you could probably take that $4,185 off his asking price of $17,600, and you'd have a reasonable selling price of $13,415. That car could easily sell for $13,415 (not fast by any means, but he could get it). The price listed in the ad is pretty far fetched even for a low mileage car as it's not a 1LE or Firehawk.

Dam did you see the washer and coolant overflow bottles.
So that's what vert's are supposed to look like new. Or if they are taken care of. I bet that thing has never been within 5 miles of a gravel road.
Living in the country has it's advantages but gravel isn't one of them.

Well stick around then, be informed! There are a number of us convertible guys on TGO that have appraisals for our insurance companies that state $10,000+, including mine. That's not saying we'd see every penny of that if we sold the car, but you get the idea.

Re: really clean vert
I have two appraisals
My 87 is appraised at $25,000 some of you have seen it, its pretty nice, not perfect.
My 89 Formula 350 Convertible is appraised at $15,000 it is a lower miles about 36,985 miles right now... It needs some paint.
The car is beautiful, it is a bit high, I think the $13,000 range is about right. It would be more valuable with the M5 trans tho...

Re: really clean vert
Lol, what a coincidence. I searched craigs list tonight becuase my wife wanted to see what her 90 vert was worth. This car popped up and she said " hey that looks excactly like my car!" If that is the original paint it HAD to spend most of it's time in a garage. The PNW is considered mild but it does eat cars. It is worth what he is asking, atleast from a PNW perspective.
When I bought the wifes 1990 vert there were only 4 IROC convertibles for sale in the states of Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Montana. I paid 4 grand for a car that had 200K miles on it. It had been the cause of a slight rear end accident in the late 90's. All of the sheat metal and plastics had been replace with OEM stuff and the car was re sprayed, then garaged for several years. It looks great from 5' but still needs a little TLC to make everything perfect.
Here is a link to what I paid 4500.00 for with 200k miles. http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...OCs2008031.jpg

Kelly Blue book is not an indicator of what these cars are worth. Check your local ad's, that will tell you what it is worth.
BTW, the 87 T-Top car is mine. It has a T-Ram intake and runs high twelves with a ZZ4 350. It looks better than the day it left the factory.
