1990 Iroc Marlboro Convertible
I don't want to beat a dead horse but I have read and searched this topic. I just want to ask if anyone has any new info for the Marlboro Iroc Giveaway car. I purchased what is said to be a Marlboro giveaway car. All it has is an emblem on the passenger side fender. Nothing other than that is different about the car. (There are no burns in the seats!) Can this be researched somewhere with the vin? Somewhere Philip Morris has to have documentation on the Vins that were given away?
Just asking.
Thanks

This is all I could find:

The reference is at the end of the document.
BTW - that's one sharp looking clean ride you have there. I've always been very partial to red.

With the information that gatorcola gave you I think it actually helps the car. It makes the car at least potentially more legitimate...

It's Mel Gibson... during one of his whacky phases no doubt. You know that crazy, Mel...
How did you happen to find that first link on "tobaccodouments.org"?

First part . . . Yeah, it's Mel. I coudn't resist such a goofy pic. Almost time for a change though.

ALSO - While the "Marlboro" was not GM, it adds a little uniqueness to the vehicle. I think its cool. Boy I used to love to smoke; especially with a drink. I might even pick back up the habit again when I reach 80.
